Why We Built This Site
Mississippi has no public, comprehensive statewide active-warrant lookup. DPS's Criminal Information Center (CIC) and Mississippi Justice Information Center (MJIC) support law-enforcement checks through NCIC/NLETS; they are not public search services. The issuing court's docket and the local agency assigned to serve process are the practical sources for a case. Circuit Court criminal records generally route through the Circuit Clerk, while Justice and Municipal Courts have their own clerks; assignments can vary locally. The county directory provides the next step when a person needs a court or sheriff contact. A missing online entry cannot establish that no warrant exists, because the state does not publish a public coverage map or complete warrant index.

What We Cannot Do
This is an independent reference site, not a Mississippi court, sheriff's office, police department, or state agency. It cannot perform the official work handled by those offices:
- We do not have access to DPS CIC/MJIC, NCIC/NLETS, or local warrant-management systems and cannot confirm a person's status
- We cannot accept bond, take payment, arrange a surrender, or set a court appearance
- We cannot change, recall, quash, or clear a court's process
- We do not provide legal advice or decide how a particular warrant applies
- We cannot promise that an outside office's contact details or procedures have not changed
For an official status, contact the court that issued the warrant or the local agency responsible for serving it. DPS CIC/MJIC is an authorized agency information channel, not a public warrant counter.
Search Partners
Some pages include search tools operated by outside providers. Their prices, privacy terms, and results are controlled by those companies, and a paid signup may generate a referral fee for this site. A provider's results are not a Mississippi court record or official confirmation of warrant status.
